On Travelling

I finally got over that anger from my head. I'm the type of person who, if gets mad, throws a rage, throws a fit, swears like a duck on crack but that just stays for a short time, then I'm back to my normal self again (I wouldn't call normal actually, since I'm not but let's leave it to that).
I was in Singapore again yesterday so that gave me the chance to forget my anger and have fun, stroll the clean Singapore streets. This is my 6th time to go Singapore this year. I think I'm meant to travel, I can't wait to see the world since I haven't gone to any countries outside Asia. The thrill of getting my passport stamped and stamped when I enter an immigration booth is already getting me excited.
My visit to Singapore this time was quite an experience coz I got to come across
different types of people. On my flight to Singapore, I sat with a couple, the husband being really fat and had a really bad case of OCD. He would just arrange everything until it suited his liking, put the plates back and forth, move the food to his wife's plate then move it back to his. The problem was he could hardly even fit in the chair yet alone try to move everything according to his will. I felt sorry for his wife.
I got out to the airport then onto the cab. The cab driver was
extremely nice. And so talkative. He just kept yapping on why I'm studying in Indonesia, I told him I was studying in an Australian University. He then said ah that was way better and he was relieved that I wasn't studying in some poor ass college and Indonesia's got nothing to offer and blah blah the country is shit, look at Singapore so safe and clean and when he found out I was Filipino he was praising the whole country and its people, how his trip to Cebu was the best. To sum it up he hates Indonesia, an extreme patriot, and loves the Filipino people and culture.
Now on my way back to Jakarta, I was seated with another couple, a very old one this time. Unfortunately I was given the privilege to be in a window seat hence I was getting cramped (not a big fan of window seats thank you). The wife, who was seated on my right, looked like she was about to die (God forbid), her eyes were closed covered by her bonnet, she was shaking and she looked like she was about to have a heart attack. Now for a person who's just beside her I was a little freaked out. Let's just say we finally got through the whole flight just fine.
I finally got to grab a copy of Incubus' new record. Squee! Call me shallow, but I consider this as an accomplishment because this is the first time I really bought a record on the release date itself, and when I got it, it wasn't even on the shelves of music stores in the USA, Asia being ahead in time difference. Plus I was the 3rd person to get it in that huge ass of a store! I was at
HMV Singapore and spent about 3 hours just browsing through everything. I could spend a lifetime there.

This is shit. I figure I'll stop being angry at my other blogs and release my anger in this one instead. For once! Last week, my sister spilled some juice in my keyboard causing it to fuck up. For all those who are my YM buddies, you probably know. The keyboard got replaced on Saturday so I was really happy I wouldn't get to use my beat up laptop anymore. That means I get to update my iTunes for podcasts and such, get to download new shit from Limewire and basically get to go back to my online comfort zone.
And then when I wake up today, turn on the the cable switch and
POOF! Something kind of explodes. The CPU got short-circuited for all the heck I know. Faaaaakk! Why do bad things happen to nice computers like mine? Back to the laptop again.
I figured I'd go out to watch a movie with my friends but
THIS is what happened to my car.
Whatever happens, just keep on smiling. =)
Tired

I'll only blog when my will wants me too. Frankly I'm tired of Blogger and I'm just updating for the sake of keeping this blog alive. My LJ is keeping me alive at the moment.
But of course I won't be leaving you with a useless post, because this will be my Christmas wishlist post! I can't wait for the Christmas gifts, I don't care what they are but then I wouldn't throw away the thought of having to not make a Christmas list!
The Xmas Wishlist ala JUICE.1. a
MacBook =)

I am soooo tired of this ECS I have. And plus, I want to be able to have double OS (both Mac and Windows because I am a computer geek ok? =P) But I heard, once you go Mac, you'll never go back. Haha lol, I'll always be loyal to PC. But I love Mac too nonetheless, now that I know how to use it. It's full of surprises.
2. An
iPod Nano.

For all you readers who have read my previous posts, you probably now that
I have an iPod Video already. And I absolutely love iJuice to bits (yes that's what I name it heehee) but I want something smaller to fit into my purse u know or when I'm going to the gym and stuff. Another nanojuice wont hurt.
3. A
Canon EOS 30D.

Yes, I'm a frustrated photographer. Unless I get this camera, I totally won't be focused on photography at all! I can't settle with my 5 megapixel Pentax S55 because I can't deal with the shutter speed but it's been my baby for about a year now and I'm super thankful for it, but this is definitely LOVE.
4. A
Chanel Bag.

You think I'm such a techie girl are you? Well yes but I do have my fair share of girlie wirlie sides too. You know how much this beauty of a bag costs? 2000 U.S fucking dollars. Yes. That's waaay more than the allowance I get in a year (I think, I haven't done the math). But you get the drift. Go ahead, judge me all you want. Lol. As a person who owns 29 handbags this is the best gift Santa can ever give me. But then it doesn't hurt to dream right? It never does so why not blog about it?
This is how the bag would look like and all its glory.

Shet, me really yearns for it.
You know why I only have four? Because these are the gifts I know I won't get this Christmas (or God knows when). These are like the "possibilities" gifts that I'm blogging about. I'd be happy nonetheless with any gift I get on Christmas anyway because its Christmas you know? I can't wait to shop for things to give my friends and family too. I really wanna get my mom that Starbucks coffee maker she's been having her eyes on. =)
Here's my LJ. I'm finally letting it out to the blogosphere.

Hmm okay, where should I start, I haven't written here for a week already. Yes it's been that busy, exam week. And to celebrate the 3-exams-down-1-to-go was the Bamboo Concert at the Hard Rock Jakarta =) with my dear dear friends, and some I haven't seen for a long long time. It was definitely bonding moment plus super headbopping, singing along to Mr. Mañalac's. Too bad Vic wasn't so seen coz the Hard Rock glass plate covered the whole drumset :( Lack of sleep during the week plus all the tension, Bamboo really took it off my chest. It was all. worth. it.
Plus, being in the front row, it made all the difference. And they're such nice guys we hung out with them for a while after their gig, had pictures and Nathan danced with me (starstruck!!) so I finally conclude that he's the new love of my life.
I have no more things left to say, but I'd leave it up to the pictures =)

Mr. Ira Cruz, he was the 2nd one to appear on stage.

B, me and Kevin. People I rarely get to hang with.

Bamboo up my face.

Hmm, why isn't this pic clear? B, RJ, Neka, Jamie, Kevin.

Lol I forgot the guy's name at the back =s. B, me and Angelica.

Mr. Mañalac meditating.

Nathan's victory pose.

hanging out with the boys.

Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Azarcon =).
More pictures at my Multiply.
The Amazing Race

This blog's becoming neglected. For some reason when I write in Blogger, I lose my creativity. I definitely don't want to think that way, and I'm also afraid it's going to become my mindset.
It just sink in that I've actually been having this blog for about 2 years now. Blogging has definitely become part of my life. I rarely have friends who share the same passion on blogging the way I see it.
Today was super tiring. The chapter conducted a sort of "Amazing Race" for us in one of Jakarta's biggest malls,
Artha Gading. The Race consisted of going from one floor to another (there are 6 floors in this mall), store to store, base to base. We had 6 tasks to do, some quite embarrassing, others tiring, but definitely fun. There were 5 groups and I'm proud to say, that OUR group won. I guess running around the mall, doing a tae-bo performance in the main entrance, singing a christmas carol in Chowking, counting how many bowling lanes there are, collecting 20 brochures from different stores, collecting 20 signatures from random mall goers, counting how many flavors of ice cream there are in Baskin Robbins and New Zealand Ice Cream, collecting 30 tickets in an arcade, borrowing the mop from the janitor and mopping the floor, go to a store pick up the most fashionable dress try it on and model it in front of the camera really payed off.
So no gimmick tonight, I am dead tired.

This was half of us after the race, the others were already on KO mode coz of all the tasks.
It's been a long time since I haven't posted something like this, a what-happened-today post. It has always been about issues or something which totally turns out insignificant.
Shucks exam week is next week and I am dead scared. Study mode shall begin.
