I've just been here in the Cebu for approximately 3 months but I've realized that there has been so much changes in me now. Well not so much, but I feel that there have been modified traits and habits within me (weheh) and now, I would like to share it with you. (did this last night actually)
1. I have learnt the art of having house keys with me wherever I go.
2. I have to reload the credits of my cellphone AT LEAST once a day.
3. I have learnt the art of commuting.
4. I have learnt the art of make-up. Yes, especially the art of the cheek tint.
5. I go everywhere by myself or with friends. Rarely with the supervision of the adult.
6. I never ever wear my adidas shoes anymore outside PE classes. In fact I hardly wear sneakers anymore, my footwear now consists of slippers, sandals and round-toe, point-toe, (you name it) PUMPS.
7. I don't watch TV. What I mean by that is I don't watch any of those Filipno sitcoms shown from 7-10 pm, it goes with the maximum of once a week.
8. Always turning the AC off whenever I leave the room. (yes because WE pay the bills now, unlike in Jakarta, where every single thing in our house is free).
10. Sleeping early. The time range of 8-10pm. But I still have my 11-1 nights, usually on weekends.
11. Wearing school ID at all times in the campus. (there's no such thing as school ID in Jakarta, haha actually there is, but there was no such thing of wearing it.)
12. Keeping a make-up bag a.k.a Kikay Kit (uugghh!). With contents such as a loose face powder, a compact face powder, lip gloss, lip gloss w/ color (brush type), eyeliner, colorless mascara, the famous CHEEK TINT, sometimes eye shadow, and a spray containing alcohol. (weird huh? I had no such thing as a make up bag in Jakarta, I hardly even put anything before I leave home. Now I can't leave hom without putting something.)
13. Walking at least 1km a day wearing black high-heeled shoes w/ foot stockings. Yes I'm very good at that now.
14. I have learnt the art of the "Theresian" walk. Since it's an all-girls school, there's this trademark walk that everyone walks in. It's so weird that without even noticing it, especially learning it, or even trying to do that walk, it overpowers you until you walk that way. I don't know, I guess it's an epidemic of the walks. Haha.
15. No more pencil cases. All I bring to classes is one pen and one tip-ex/white ink.
16. The art of having a coin purse besides having a wallet. Yes, coins are VERY ESSENTIAL here in the Philippines, unlike in Jakarta where you just throw coins in the trash can coz you don't need 'em. Hahaha.
17. I eat breakfast now. Yes I do and that's every day of the week. (Coz I never really ate breakfast in Jakarta.)
18. Taking a bath with cold water. Before, I used to cringe at the thought of taking a bath with cold water, coz I never could live w/out my hot and cold shower in Jakarta, but now surprisingly, I have to take a bath w/ cold water.
19. I bring a handkerchief at all times. (as my bezfwen Noemi would say, it's so FILO..hahaha)
20. I got addicted to post-its, they're all over my books and my computer table. Pink, yellow and green --> all colorful.
